APICS Central Georgia Chapter Announces Yearly Awards

Gina Lynn Named APICS CEGA Member of the Year for 2017


MACON, GA – April 11th, 2017 – The Central Georgia Chapter of APICS announced the organization’s yearly awards in a recent communication from the Board of Directors. APICS is the premier industry association dedicated to the field of end-to-end supply chain management. The organization has almost 200 chapters across the globe, supporting more than 45,000 members. APICS CEGA Chapter services geographic markets throughout central Georgia, such as Macon, Dublin, and Warner Robins.
Gina Lynn was named the Chapter’s Member of the Year for the current program year, which runs from July 2016 to June 2017. She has been a member of the Central Georgia Chapter for 3 years and has served on the CEGA Chapter Board of Directors since 2014 as VP of Marketing, Communications/Programs Director and Website Coordinator.
“A very special thank you goes to Ms. Gina Lynn for her 3 years of service to APICS and to the Central Georgia Chapter. We celebrate her dedication to the mission of APICS and to the Central Georgia community,” stated Chapter President Jim Rush.

Hurricane Irma

As we witness the ongoing effects of Hurricane Irma, we’re concerned about our APICS members and customers in Florida, the southeast United States and the Caribbean. We hope you, your families and communities are safe and secure.

APICS is working with the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) to participate in hurricane relief efforts. 'The American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) supports disaster recovery by engaging industry to address the unmet needs of relief organizations, communities, and people.'  If you’re able, please share their logistics map on your social media networks. It indicates where logistics resources are needed.
