Highlights from the New Orleans District Meeting

APICS Triangle First Student Case Competition a Success!

The APICS Triangle Chapter held its first ever Student Case Competition last week in Raleigh, North Carolina. Students from NC State and Duke University participated in groups of three where they were asked to review a supply chain related case study and submit their findings and recommendations to a panel of judges appointed by the APICS Chapter Board. The top 5 groups presented their findings and recommendations at last Tuesday’s Professional Development Dinner Meeting on the evening of April 5th. 

The Triangle Chapter would like to take the opportunity to thank all the students who participated in the competition and would like to recognize the following finalists for their detailed analysis and recommendations:

From NC State University:
Sourabh Deshmukhe, Tanul Kala, Tanmay Lohani, Saurich Yelchur Sanath, Sanath Pavate, Disha Hitesh Kanara, Atchyuta Bharadwaj Manda, Indraja Vemana and Krishna Balabadhrapatruni

From Duke University:
Sai Aditya Kolluru, Chaithra Cheruku, Anirudh Yedulla, Ai Lin Loh, James Huang and Masayuki Kobayashi,

Special recognition goes out to the winners Ai Lin Loh, James Huang and Masayuki Kobayashi from Duke University’s Masters of Engineering Management Program.

We would also like to thank the panel of judges (Tim Rhoads, Prasanna Deshpande and Ben Poston) for their participation and for lending their supply chain expertise to judge this event
